Meeting cancelled
Hello all:
This is to let you know that the Sunday Genealogy Committee Meeting
of the Armstrong County Historical Museum and Genealogy Society has
been cancelled due to a main water line break in the Library. Water came
into the kitchen area and parts of the carpeting has been flooded. Clean
up will not be done by Sunday.If you get this e-mail and can contact anybody that is not listed to prevent
them from making an unneeded trip, please do so. I will try to contact
people by phone tomorrow who live out of town to keep them from making
the trip.Remember that the June 3rd meeting will have James Scahill as the
guest speaker and will present a first person interpretation on General
John Forbes.Chris
The Genealogy Committee of the Armstrong County Historical Museum and Genealogy Society will hold their monthly meeting on Sunday, May 6, 2012 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM in the Mildred Lankerd Thomas Genealogy Library – 300 North McKean Street, Kittanning, PA.
This will be a research meeting. A short business meeting will take place prior to the research. Persons attending may explore their personal family history using the materials and reference items in the Genealogy Library.
The June 3rd meeting will have the guest speaker of James Scahill who will present a first person interpretation on General John Forbes. Please mark your calendar as this will be a very informative program.
