The Genealogy Committee of the Armstrong County Historical Museum and Genealogy Society will begin the 2011 season with a meeting on Sunday, 3 April 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. It is held at the Mildred Lankerd Thomas Genealogy Library at 300 North McKean Street in Kittanning, PA. The library is housed in the Old Carriage House and is across the parking lot from the McCain House Museum. The meeting is free and open to the public.
A Research Meeting where each person may explore their personal family history using the materials of the Library is scheduled. There will also be a brief presentation on using this web site Forum and the ACGC Facebook group and how they differ. (You may bring a laptop or mobile device and use the library WiFi to connect to this site during the presentation.)
