Due to construction at the library, the first meeting of 2018 will be held on May 6, 2018. The agenda is research.
Christine Cramer memorial dedication

Dedication Ceremony in memory of Christine Cramer. The Ford City Library has purchased new bookcases to house our genealogy & local history materials with money donated in Chris’s memory.
The event will be 6:30 p.m. Nov. 16 at the library, 1136 Fourth Ave., Ford City PA.
We will serve light refreshments and remember our friend Chris.
Chris participated in running this site by posting announcements and she served as an officer of the Genealogy Committee of the Armstrong County Historical Society.

July 9, 2017, Genealogy Committee Meeting
The Armstrong County Genealogy Club in Kittanning will meet next Sunday (July 9) from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
The meeting is held at the Lankerd Thomas Library at the County Historical Museum at 300 North McKean Street in Kittanning PA.
Because of the Fourth of July holiday the meeting day has been changed from the first Sunday to the Second Sunday, July 9th.
Speaker for the day is Rich Essenwein from the Civil War Re-enactment Group.
